Prof. Dr. Michael McAleer, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan(Online Speech)
Michael McAleer holds a PhD (Economics), 1981, from Queen´s University, Canada. He is University Distinguished Chair Professor, Department of Quantitative Finance, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, Erasmus Visiting Professor of Quantitative Finance, Econometric Institute, Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Quantitative Economics, Complutense University of Madrid (founded 1293) , Spain, Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and IAS Adjunct Professor, Institute of Advanced Sciences, Yokohama National University, Japan. On numerous occasions, he has been a distinguished visiting professor at the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University and Osaka University, Japan, University of Padova (founded 1222), Italy, Complutense University of Madrid (founded 1293), Spain, Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Italy, University of Zurich, Switzerland, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is an elected Distinguished Fellow of the International Engineering and Technology Institute (DFIETI), and an elected Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia (FASSA), International Environmental Modelling and Software Society (FIEMSS), Modelling and Simulation Society of Australia and New Zealand (FMSSANZ), Tinbergen Institute, The Netherlands, and Journal of Econometrics. He is the Editor-in-Chief of five international journals, is on the editorial boards of a further 37 international journals, and has guest co-edited numerous special issues of the Journal of Econometrics (Elsevier), Econometric Reviews (Taylor and Francis), Environmental Modelling and Software (Elsevier), Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (Elsevier), North American Journal of Economics and Finance (Elsevier), International Review of Economics and Finance (Elsevier), Annals of Financial Economics (World Scientific), Journal of Risk and Financial Management (MDPI), Journal of Economic Surveys (Wiley), and Economic Record (Wiley). In terms of academic publications, he has published more than 675 journal articles and books in financial econometrics, quantitative finance, risk and financial management, economics, theoretical and applied econometrics, theoretical and applied statistics, time series analysis, energy economics, energy finance, forecasting, informatics, data mining, bibliometrics, and international rankings of journals and academics.

Prof. Dr. Min Peng, Wuhan University, Wuhan, Hubei
Min Peng is Professor in Computer School at Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. She received her Ph.D. degree in Computer Software and Theory from Wuhan University in 2006. She worked as a post-doctor from 2009 to 2010 at the Advanced Cyber-Infrastructure Laboratory, ECE Department at the University of New Mexico, USA. Her current research focus areas include information retrieval, network services and natural language process. In particular, her project and publications areas cover web information retrieval and social networks. Her work is being supported by the NSFC, NSF of Hubei and Education Office of Hubei. Dr. Peng is the recipient of the second Hubei Province Prize for Natural Sciences in 2009. She was TPC chair of High Speed Networking workshop for IEEE INFOCOM 2011, and served as TPC member for many academic symposiums.

Prof. Dr. Shengzhi Du, Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa
Dr Du is a permanent full Professor of the Tshwane University of Technology and the group leader of Mechatronics in the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment. He obtained a PhD in the major of Control Theory and Control Engineering from Nankai University in 2005. He was granted as NRF C2 rated researcher (Established Researcher). His research interests include Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Control Systems, Mechatronic Systems, Brain Computer Interfaces, and Biomechatronics Engineering. He has extensive industrial and academic management experience. He and his team developed a series of process industry advanced control products and video surveillance systems. He has been engaged in school research committee as chair person and group leader.

Associate. Prof. Dr. Xiangdong Chen, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Nanjing
He is an associate professor in the College of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Nanjing, China. He received the B.S.and M.S. degrees from College of Information and Engineering(S’10–M’13), Northwest A&F University, Xianyang, China, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea, in 2006, 2010, and 2013, respectively. His research interests include the umbrella of image processing, such as image denoising, and image enhancement, as well as highresolution image reconstruction, biological recognition,video coding standards, such as H.264/AVC, and video sequences postprocessing. He received the Chinese Government Scholarship and the Brain Korea 21 Scholarship to study in Hanyang University, Seoul. He received the Annual Technology Innovation Award from the education section of the Chinese Embassy in Korea in 2012.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Waraporn Viyanon, Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand
Waraporn Viyanon is an instructor in Computer Science Department at Srinakharinwirot University. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology (previously named University of Missouri-Rolla) in 2010. Her current research focus areas include Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Mobile Computing and Web Technologies.
