Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI in Art, Design, and Creative Education
AI, Generative AI, Art, Design, Creative Education
Artificial intelligence and generative AI are changing the way we approach art, design, and creative education today. These technologies are not only affecting the tools we use for creation, but are also influencing how we teach, collaborate, and understand the roles of artists, designers, and educators. This session explores current and emerging uses of AI and generative AI in art, design, and creative education, combining academic perspectives, professional practices, and educational experiences. It aims to create a space for dialogue on how these technologies are reshaping creative processes, learning environments, and educational practices within artistic and creative fields.
We invite contributions on AI-assisted artistic and design practices, the integration of generative AI in creative teaching, experiences and reflections from artists, designers, and educators, as well as critical discussions on creativity, ethics, authorship, and the role of humans in AI-augmented creative processes.
