With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, nanotechnology, flexible electronics, and biosensing technologies, intelligent sensors have emerged as key enabling technologies driving precision medicine, real-time health monitoring, personalized diagnostics and treatment, and telemedicine. This session focuses on the latest advancements and applications of intelligent sensors in healthcare and medicine. It aims to bring together global researchers, engineers, and industry experts to explore how next-generation intelligent sensing systems can empower smart healthcare, enhance early disease diagnosis and chronic disease management efficiency, and significantly improve patients' quality of life and public health outcomes. The session welcomes original high-quality research submissions and discussions on (but not limited to) the following topics:
△ Design and development of wearable, implantable, flexible, and skin-attachable intelligent sensors
△ Electrochemical, optical, piezoelectric, photoelectrochemical, multimodal, and self-powered biosensors
△ Advanced sensing platforms based on nanomaterials, hydrogels/ionogels, microfluidics, and MEMS
△ Deep integration of intelligent sensors with artificial intelligence/machine learning (for data interpretation, predictive analytics, and decision support)
△ Real-time monitoring of physiological and biochemical parameters (blood glucose, blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, biomarkers, metabolites, free radicals, etc.)
△ Applications in early tumor screening, continuous chronic disease management, postoperative rehabilitation monitoring, and personalized medicine
△ Remote health monitoring, mobile health (mHealth), IoT-based health ecosystems, and edge computing
△ Sensor miniaturization, biocompatibility, low power consumption, integration, and long-term stability
△ Innovations of intelligent sensors in drug delivery, precision dosing, digital therapeutics, and closed-loop therapy
△ Clinical translation, performance validation, regulatory requirements, commercialization pathways, and ethical considerations.
